These guys do a phenomenal job, using everything at hand, in developing atmosphere that is raw, expressive, dynamic and uncompromising. I think that lends a kind of living quality to their songs; they're continuously moving, whether progressing or receding. I find it as impressive as it is engaging. Also, Love those vocals.

Even when utilizing major chords and more uplifitng chord-patterns, this albums still manages to put forth immense melancholy and grand emotions. Excellent record.
